David Westlake is a drummer and multi instrumentalist with a wealth of experience as a session player and producer. As an original member of million-plus selling band Sneaker Pimps he has played all over the world and been involved in production and remix work with artists as diverse as Marilyn Manson, Client, Depeche Mode, Trash Money, Ian McCulloch, Natalie Imbruglia, Leftfield, Placebo and many others.

As a composer his work is enormously varied having recently had an orchestral piece recorded by David Arnold in Prague while producing increasingly eclectic work in his own London studio. His background as a drummer and programmer informs all of his work from broken electronica to acoustic pop and neo-minimalism to surly, brooding rocknroll.

His work has been used by major TV channels, movies, advertising campaigns and for online content. He has also been commisioned as a composer for comedy and theatre work as well as sound design for the art world.

David recently produced the eagerly awaited Mighty Boosh album at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York City and tours as drummer/MD for the Mighty Boosh Band.
